action research 2

   

I am doing my action research with the help of a fellow teacher who works with me. She went to school for me and sent me to do some work needed for action research. I put it in front of you now to see if the tasks I have done so far are correct or not.

Introduction:

     With that help I am just starting to do action research. 

        According to Thiruvalluvar, "Counting and writing is the life of the two eyes."  This is one's basic ability .Thus the basic abilities of the students are affected during this corona epidemic.  Elementary students in particular tend to write vaguely in the form of letters due to lack of continuous training.  Manuscript training is essential in recovering students' learning losses.

Study Title:

       “Improving the Handwriting Ability of Elementary Students.”

Study Requirement: 

        * Students study in the classroom environment at school and they practice handwriting in a variety of ways.

       

         * They have been involved in learning through television and e-learning classes during this heyday.

         

         * Thus reducing the chance of writing in coursebooks.  Also, it has been found that there are many shortcomings when looking at the signatures of students who come to school from time to time. The basis of students' learning is their signatures.  Therefore, this review was conducted in elementary students as improving student handwriting is the first requirement.

Purpose of the study:

            #Training in the basic lines, curves, spirals, etc. of the alphabet - elementary students learn the syllabic form of the alphabet,.  Practice writing in two lines, leaving space for letters and words.

           #Practicing writing with pencils, pens, and colored scripts, students will gain the ability to write in their textbooks, unlined manuscripts, and book after proper handwriting training.

Proposed solutions to the 

1. Do students know the basic lines, curves, spirals, etc. of the letters?  

2. Do students know the proper line format of the alphabet?  

3. Have students been trained to leave space for letters and words in two line notebooks?  4. Are students trained to write with pencil, pen and colored writing?  

5. Will students be able to write in their textbooks, unlined manuscripts and book after getting proper handwriting training?
